Treatibles: Veterinarian Approved

CBD for pets
"We bought the Treatibles pumpkin hemp chews to help our 13 1/2 yr. old dog who has several mobility issues due to past spinal cord injuries as well as arthritis due to old fractures.
"He loves the taste and they appear to be helping. He seems to have more energy and vitality on the product. We plan to keep him on these treats due to this. They are a nice size, they appear to taste very good and we have had no trouble giving them to him. I am happy with the product.
"I am a veterinarian and would like to eventually see scientific research on CBD products, but am happy with these prior to that happening. I have a friend who is also using them on her cluster seizure dog and he appears to have a reduced number and severity of epileptic episodes."

Thanks for getting in touch, Jaylene. To answer your question, yes we think it will help. Arthritis is the #1 reason our customers buy Treatibles for their pets—and we have heard a lot of success stories when using our CBD chews and oils with their arthritic pets. Please let us know how things go or if we can help in any other way.

My Australia Cattle dog/collie has arthritis, he is 8 years old. Well this help him, so he is not in pain?

My Mini Aussie also has seizures. He is on phenobarbital twice a day, about 24 mg per dose. He rarely has they now, about everything 4-6 months. However, I would love to get him off the drug completely, as I know it can be bad for them. He weighs about 52lbs.

Would love suggestions…and should I talk to my vet about them first?

Hi Barbara,

Treatibles chews vs. liquid—it depends on how finicky an eater your Pommy is. If she likes dry chewable treats generally, try the chews. If she is finicky, the liquid drops are nice as you can administer directly onto the food she loves or directly into her mouth.

All the best and thanks for getting in touch.

My pomeranian has been having seizure for about 4 years now and she is on phenobarb pill & liquid. Her seizures seem to be getting better until lately she has had 1 about every other week. Would the liquid work better or the treats?

Hi Lacey,

Thanks for getting in touch. We would definitely suggest giving Treatibles a try. Dosage is as follows: We suggest 1mg per every 10lb dog weight. So if your dog is 75lbs, we suggest starting with 7.5 mg of CBD per dose. That would be either 3 of our large Treatibles chews (which has 2.5mg per chew) or 7-8 drops from our CBD Dropper Bottle (1mg per drop). Let us know if you have any other questions and best of luck with your Australian Shepherd.

My Australian Shepard has been suffering from seizures for about 16 months now and is on a high dosage of phenobarbital and potassium bromide. He is vet lethargic some times and still has seizures about once a month or once every other month. What dosage would u suggest for him at 75 pounds and what is the most cost effective way to do CBD for him?
