Treatibles Hemp Wellness For Pets Launching New Product With Villalobos Rescue Center Pit Bull and TV Star, Tater Tot at SuperZoo, Booth #1107

Oakland, CA – July 26, 2017 - Treatibles, an industry leader in hemp sourced phytocannabinoid rich (PCR) chews, oils and gel caps for pets, is gearing up for the annual SuperZoo pet product extravaganza. This year’s tradeshow will be held Tuesday, July 25 – Thursday, July 27 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Treatibles has partnered with Villalobos Rescue Center (you may recognize the Rescue from an animal focused network’s hit show about rehabilitating Pit Bulls and people)  to introduce Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots by Treatibles, a new grain free chew that will benefit the New Orleans-based Rescue. One dollar from each bag sold will be donated to help cover veterinary expenses at Villalobos Rescue Center.

The official launch will take place at SuperZoo during a press conference scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26 at booth #1107. The event will feature Mariah Harmony and Tater Tot from the hit show and Villalobos Rescue Center, and Treatibles CEO and Founder Julianna Carella. A special gift bag with product samples and a USB with images and information will be available for media at the press conference.

How Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots by Treatibles Was Born:

Tater’s story began in 2010 when a Good Samaritan found the handsome fellow running the streets of Los Angeles. He was taken to Villalobos, which at the time was located in L.A. It was love at first sight for Mariah, one of the family members running the rescue. She adopted him immediately. She knew he had physical and mental pain, which is believed to be a result of unethical breeding, and she was determined to help ease both. Managing his pain had been a continual challenge.  That was when Mariah discovered Treatibles. The phytocannabinoid rich chews had an almost immediate effect on his physical and mental health.

“Treatibles changed Tater’s life for the better,” stated Mariah.  “Physically, he can now enjoy his work day with much less pain. And his obsessive behavior has subsided tremendously. He even sleeps peacefully through the night.”

When Mariah shared Tater’s story with Julianna, she was inspired to do something to help. Julianna proposed creating a chew in Tater’s honor – one that could benefit the dogs of the rescue.

Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots by Treatibles is expected to be available in stores nationwide in early August  2017. The promotion is open-ended.

In addition to Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots, Treatibles will be introducing the company’s full line of grain free chews with flavors including Blueberry, Pumpkin, and Turkey.

Treatibles products all contain phytocannabinoid rich oil extracted from whole plant medicinal grade hemp grown in the USA. In addition to several therapeutic phytocannabinoids, terpenes are included creating what is known as the entourage effect, providing a full spectrum of benefits for pets. Treatibles products are legal to sell in and ship to all 50 states.

Phytocannabinoids are very effective in bringing balance to pets suffering from a myriad of conditions including anxiety, separation anxiety, joint pain, general pain, loss of appetite, mobility issues, effects from and treatment for tumors and irregular cell growth, seizures, end of life comfort, and more.

This is because all animals have an endocannabinoid system that assists in maintaining the physiological, neurological and immunological systems of the body. If there is a deficiency of endocannabinoid production, the system’s multiple receptors will utilize the addition of phytocannabinoids to help create calm and balance and provide support for relaxing, repairing or restoring.

Not all hemp-derived products for pets are created equal.

“We go above and beyond to ensure the efficacy and safety of all of our products,” offered Julianna Carella, CEO and Founder of Treatibles.

“We third party lab test at every stage, from the raw materials to the finished product. As far as we know, we are the only company producing phytocannabinoid products for pets that can quantify the exact milligrams of PCR in every chew, dropper bottle, and gel cap. In addition, we test to ensure our products are free of bio-contaminants and heavy metals,” she added.

According to a recent customer survey, anxiety is the number one reason Treatibles is provided to pets. With summer being a notorious time for heightened anxiety – thunderstorms, fireworks, travel, etc. – it is an ideal time to stock up on Treatibles.

About Villalobos Rescue Center:

Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC), located in the 9th Ward area of New Orleans, Louisiana,  is a rescue, rehabilitation and placement facility for abused and abandoned Pit Bulls and other breeds. VRC works tirelessly to give Pit Bulls another chance in life. Every dog taken in gets spayed or neutered and provided with any medical treatment necessary. The Center works patiently to re-acclimatize fearful dogs to the loving care of a human so they may eventually be adopted. In some cases, these dogs have never had a kind word or touch, so it is a slow process. After determining temperaments and compatibility factors, the long search for a perfect forever home takes place. On any given day, there are approximately 300 dogs being cared for by VRC. The averages yearly veterinary cost is $500K. For more information, visit vrcpitbull.com
